Overview

This article outlines the various links you can add to your portals. They can be added to buttons or as hyperlinks. These only work in portals on component screens. Read about merge fields in emails.

Note that for faculty schedules, a rotation can be specified by using the syntax: “{system:faculty_schedule}?rotation=2”, adding the rotation on to the end of the schedule link.

Employee Portal

The distinction between {system:time_off_requests} and {system:new_time_off_request} is that the former brings the user to a page to view submitted and/or pending requests, while the latter directs the user to the request submission form itself. Once at either of the pages though, the user may easily navigate to the other from the resulting screen.
