Where can you add a faculty/staff member biography?

As of July 12, 2021, this "Learn Veracross" site has been deprecated.  It will remain live at least through December 23, 2021, but will no longer be updated. Q&A articles are only visible to authenticated users in the Veracross Community; please speak with your implementation or account manager for additional information.


You may wish to keep a biography on file for all your faculty and staff members which can then feed into the faculty/staff directory if you so choose.

The Biography text box can be found on the HR tab of a Staff/Faculty person record.

To add a biography for a faculty/staff member, perform the following steps:

  1.  Start by navigating to their person record from a standard Find Person query.
  2. Click on the HR tab, which can be found in the “Employment” tab section on the left.
  3.  From this tab, if you scroll to the right, you’ll see the Biography field where you can enter in that person's biography,
  4. Click Update.
