Sometimes, multiple organizations exist in your database that may seem like duplicates, but actually aren't. This situation is most common with organizations that do have the same name but multiple office locations with different addresses and contact information.

To remove the duplicate organizations from the "Potential Duplicates" query, perform the following steps:

  1.  Click into each organization record (accessible through the Potential Duplicates query) and click on the Other tab for each record.
  2. Enter the "Surviving Record" field to be the organization itself.
  3. Once this is complete, the nightly scripts will remove the two organizations from this query.
    • Alternately, you can run the "Find Duplicate Organizations" procedure from the Data Integrity homepage to remove the organizations from the query immediately.
