Security Roles for Admission Portal 3.0

The table below describes the security roles necessary for the school personnel working on the Admission Portal configuration.

Primary Security Roles
(one or the other)
Access
Admission_1
  • allows read-write access to all admissions data
  • allows adding person roles to user accounts
Admission_2
  • allows read-only access to all admissions data
Supplemental Security Roles
(one or more depending on the access needed)
Access
Admissions_Admin
  • allows editing of admission checklist items
Admissions_Web_Form_Admin
  • allows editing of webforms
Portals_ADMIN
  • allows editing of admission portal content 
  • allows editing of admission portal configuration

Note: In addition to this security role, the school personnel's person record needs to be added to the Admin tab of the Portal Config record

ImpersonationAccess
Impersonate_Admissions_Families
  • allows user to impersonate parents of candidates in order to view the Admission Portal from the parent's perspective
