Manually Applying Deposits to AR Invoices


  1. Navigate to the Invoice for which you’d like to apply the deposit.
  2. Click on the “Receiving” tab.
  3. To the right of the “Deposit Item” field, click on the magnifying glass.
  4. Type in the Household name and press “Run Query”.
  5. One or more unapplied deposit records will be presented.
  6. Click on the desired deposit, and press “OK”.
  7. Set the “Receipt in Full?” flag.
  8. Press “Update”.
  9. The Unapplied Amount on the deposit is distributed to the unpaid invoice items.
  10. Confirm all looks good, and that there is no Mismatch Amount”.
  11. If you’d like to post tentatively applied deposits to “today’s date” then toggle the “Post Deposit Now?” field to Yes, and click Update.
  12. Close the Invoice.
