If a parent unlocks AutoPay to make a (partial) manual payment, does the AutoPay stay 'unlocked'?
When the parent ‘unlocks’ AutoPay to make a manual payment and does not pay the full amount – this is only ‘unlocked’ for the purpose of making that specific manual payment. When the parent arrives at the invoices page in the portal again, the AutoPay invoice will be ‘locked’ for AutoPay again (if the parent wants to make another manual payment they will simply ‘unlock’ the invoice again).
The amount of the manual payment will immediately be shown as a “Pending Payment” amount and the amount due will reflect an amount that is net of the pending payment. The AutoPay machine recognizes this and will only charge the current amount due net of any pending payments.
