To send a thank you email for one donation to a donor with multiple donations on their record, begin from a Find Donations query, then perform the following steps:
- In the query results, select the donation record(s) for which the email will be created.
- Press CTRL+SHIFT+C (Mac: CMD+SHIFT+C) to open the Copy Results Data window. From there, select Donation ID and click Copy Data to Clipboard.
- Access the query Design view, select the Donation ID, and paste the copied data into the criteria field in the third column.
- Run the query again and the results should filter to only those donations selected.
When testing the composer email, create a blank email and click Select Recipients instead of Next to bypass the subject line, etc. screen to verify your email will only be sent to the intended recipients.
