How do I determine if I can add a new Person Classification?

As of July 12, 2021, this "Learn Veracross" site has been deprecated.  It will remain live at least through December 23, 2021, but will no longer be updated. If a classification type is a System classification, our engineering team must add this on your behalf. If it is a school-defined classification, it can be done by you at the school. To determine what kind of classification it is, navigate to the System Homepage and select Person Classifications Types.

Look for the classification type in the category column (e.g. Award, Development, General, etc.) and note if the System checkbox is enabled.

If it is, submit a request to have the classification added. When submitting the request, include the following information:

  • Category
  • Description
  • Notes (if applicable)
