How do I connect a financial aid category with a fee type?

In order for your financial aid category to show on an ORE/OE contract as a line item in the amounts section, it needs to be tied to a fee type. To connect these two items, perform the following steps:

  1.  Beginning from the Financial Aid homepage, open the Award Categories query.
  2.  In the query design screen, pull in the Catalog Category 2 field and run the query.
    •  The Catalog Category 2 field is the same as the Fee Type so when you click into this column from the query results you can see a list of your fee types.
  3.  Choose one and click Update Records to associate it with the related award category.
