Here is the new version of this article in the Veracross Community.From inside a Financial Statement Spec., the General tab is where you can format the report titles, report criteria, orientations, font sizes and margins for the entire report. The formats specified on the General tab will translate once the report is run.
Formatting such as underlining, bolding, and sorting individual lines is done on each individual line in the Lines tab or from within a line record.
Important fields on the General Tab of a Financial Statement Spec.

Report Title
| - This field is used to specify the title of the report.

Title Line 2
| - This field is used to specify the title of the report.
|
|
Description
| - This field is used to specify a description or the function of the report. This does NOT print on the report and is only viewable in the Financial Statement Spec. List.

Print Title
| - This button is used to print the title of the report. This is also the name of the report in the Financial Statement Spec. List. Toggling this button to “No” will stop the title from printing on the report.

Print Title in Bold
| - This button is used to specify if the title should be printed in bold.
|
|
Underline Title
| - This button is used to specify if the title should be underlined.
|
|
Title Font Size
| - This field is used to specify the font size for the title ONLY.
|
|
Print Criteria
| - This button is used to print the period the report data was pulled from. Toggling this button to “No” will stop the criteria from printing on the report.

Print Criteria in Bold
| - This button is used to specify if the criteria should be printed in bold.
|
|
Underline Criteria
| - This button is used to specify if the criteria should be underlined.
|
|
Criteria Font Size
| - This field is used to specify the font size for the criteria ONLY.
|
|
Landscape
| - This button is used to specify if the report should be printed with a landscape orientation. Leaving this button set to “No” will print the report with a portrait orientation.

|
Font Size
| - This field is used to specify the font size for all the lines in the report. This does NOT control the title and criteria printed at the top of the report.
|
|
Font Face
| - This field is used to specify the style of font that should be used in the report.
|
|
Line Height Ratio
| - This field is used to specify the amount of space that should be left in between lines in the report.
|
|
Top Margin
| - This field is used to specify (in inches) the top margin of the report.
|
|
Bottom Margin
| - This field is used to specify (in inches) the bottom margin of the report.
|
|
Left Margin
| - This field is used to specify (in inches) the left margin of the report.
|
|
Right Margin
| - This field is used to specify (in inches) the right margin of the report.
