Overview
Embed components allow different media to be pulled in from outside of Veracross, such as videos and social media timelines. Available embedding options include generic media such as videos and Google maps, Twitter timelines, Google forms, and Google Drive folders.
Configuration
- Generic Embed
To embed videos and other generic media, copy and paste the desired URL into the Content field and the media will render accordingly. iFrame embeds are not supported. Embed Youtube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, Google Maps, Spotify, Flickr, Pinterest, as well as many others.
Add a Twitter timeline by entering a the twitter username with no “at” (@) symbol. The most recent tweets made on the account will display. The height of the Twitter timeline can be controlled using the dimension slider configuration option. - Google Forms
Embed a Google Form within the screen by copy and pasting the form URL into the Content field and the form will display accordingly. The height of the Form can be adjusted using the dimensions slider configuration option. - Google Drive Folder
Embed the entire contents of a Google Drive folder by copying and pasting the folder ID into the Content field. Resources within the folder can be displayed as either a list or a grid. - Facebook Timeline
Embed the timeline from a Facebook page. Enter the Facebook page name with a slash, e.g. /school_name. Including the slash (/) is important. - Pinterest Profile
Embed a Pinterest profile.
