Documentation

Below is a list of components used to create these pages and the tab where they can be found. The components are organized into categories and the tab options are seen when you click the +Add button from a configuration page.

Each section is split into sections with and without the News Management module — the News Management module is an extra cost module that allows robust content management, including article creation and review, publishing options, the ability to pull information from multiple sources into a single page. If you are interested in purchasing this module, please reach out to your account manager.

Format

Below are images of various portals that are available to schools. The numbered dots in the image correspond to the portal components you can add through the screen builder tool. The component screen builder for each portal screen can be accessed through the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Portal Admin homepage and then click on the portal you wish to modify in the Find Portals embedded query on the top of the homepage.
2. Click on the Component Screens tab on the portal record and then click the "Edit..." link next to the component screen you want to edit.
3. Click the green "+ Add" button to bring up the component interface.

The data below lists the component category in the component interface and the name of the component itself. As an example, if a component is on the General component category tab and called "Heading", it is listed as:

Faculty Portal Homepage and Pages

Faculty Lower School Portal — No News Management

Click on “Veracross Online School” located in the navigation bar of the Faculty Lower School portal to access this page. The Veracross Online School homepage represents some of the features that are possible without the News Management module for the Faculty portal.
