Can I copy a single class page from one class website to another?

As of July 12, 2021, this "Learn Veracross" site has been deprecated.  It will remain live at least through October 1, 2021, but will no longer be updated. You may wish to copy a single page from a class website to a different class website for a number of reasons, including:

  • to save time
  • for uniform websites within a department
  • for new teachers or teachers who have not yet created a website from scratch

Class pages can only be copied from one class website to another if both classes are part of the same course; this process can be found in the "Creating a Template Website for Multiple Users" section of the Class Website documentation.

Can I hide/disable the "Discussions" tab from certain classes' class websites?

Yes, you can! To disable/hide the "Discussions" tab on a class website, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Class record you'd like to set this for in Axiom using a Find Classes query.
  2. Go to the class's Website Configuration tab and set the Value column next to Discussions to be "false" instead of "true".
  3. Click Update Records.

How can I hide the directory from the class website?

To hide the directory from the class website, perform the following steps:

  1. From a School Level hompage, click on the Find Classes query and click into the relevent class record.
  2. Click on the Website Configuration tab on the class record and set the Value on the 'directory' row to "false".

Is there a way to hide the parent's contact information from the student directory on the class website?

The display of parent emails and phone numbers can be adjusted on the Configuration tab on the Student Directory Admin page. This is accessible through the Student Directory Type link on the Portal Admin homepage.

Under 'Parent Fields', adjust the Value field by clicking into the field and then the magnifying glass and setting the value to 0 (or Hide field). Remember that you can either wait for the overnight procedures to update the directory or — from the Action button on the Student Directory Admin page — run the 'Refresh Directory Entries' procedure.
