Here is the new version of this article in the Veracross Community.

Project types are used to categorize the various projects in the Project Accounting module.  Examples might include Fund Raising Events, Athletic Teams, Facilities Maintenance and others.  Rather than create a predefined list of Project Types that might (or might not) apply to all schools, the Veracross system allows each school to create their own types.   To create a new Project Type, simply follows the steps outlined below.

  1. Navigate to the Project Accounting homepage.
  2. Select Add a Project Type.
  3. Enter a Project Type ID – unique # associated with the Project Type
  4. Enter a Description – description of the Project Type
  5. Click Add Project Type.
